I love spreading joy and being helpful to others. Those are my anchors in all the decisions I make in life, which led me to jobs and careers that were surrounded by opportunities of spreading joy or being helpful. Whether I was serving ice cream at my first job at Baskin Robbins at the age of 16, or leading a team of brilliant marketers in my last career before transitioning into UX design, my main focus was always around creating positive experiences and solutions for people.
I graduated from Trinity University with a Bachelors in Marketing in 2016. Fast forward to 2021, I have dedicated my last five years to a startup company where I would eventually grow from an entry-level marketing associate to a marketing director, who managed a small marketing team. While I enjoyed my personal career growth in those years, the biggest joy my work brought me was the social impact of making tech education and careers more accessible for everyone.
Transitioning into UI/UX design, I get to carry over the same values of wanting to create positive experiences through digital platforms and products. With my previous experience in marketing strategy, execution, and leadership, and newly built skills of user experience and interface design, I want to help create a positive experience for users while playing a key role in business growth.
